Christmas at the Bowl 2025

Christmas at the Bowl is a major annual event in the Taranaki community calendar. Set at the iconic Bowl of Brooklands, Christmas at the Bowl is a variety show with all your favourite Christmas carols, audience sing-alongs and a visually spectacular finale.

An immersive Christmas experience for the whole family, this is the best way to kick off your Christmas festivities. So round up your family and friends, bring along your picnic and join us for another fantastic night of entertainment and celebration at Christmas at the Bowl.

Programme:
5.00pm | Gates officially open
Donation collectors will be at all entry points to the venue from 4.30pm-9.30pm. Please help us with your gold coin donation. This is a community run event so all donations are gratefully received and ensure the event can continue each year.

Once inside the venue, volunteers will hand out candles and candle holders.

6.30pm | Pre-show entertainment on the main stage
8.00pm | Christmas at the Bowl Variety Show commences

9:35pm | Approximate time for the Fireworks Spectacular display
9.40pm | Christmas at the Bowl Variety Show concludes
When you leave the venue please ensure the area around you is clean of rubbish.

Permanent park lighting will be available to guide your exit from the Bowl to Fillis Street at the conclusion of this year's show.
