Location and parking
Only a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre, Yarrow Stadium is located on Maratahu Street, just off Tukapa Street or Frankley Road (note: road closures are in place on Maratahu Street for major events but please check specific event details for full road closure information). For smaller events, functions or VIP there are 180 car park spaces available on-site adjacent to field 2, and a further 70 car parks at the Gate 4 car park for smaller events.
The main entry is through Gate 1 off Maratahu Street (by Tukapa Street), Gate 3 entry is located on Clawton Street, Gate 4 is via the driveway next to Ate Fortyone off Tukapa Street.

Ticketek is the authorised ticket seller for Yarrow Stadium. Do not purchase tickets from ticket resellers or scalpers (such as Viagogo).
Tickets can be purchased over the counter at the TSB Showplace box office, online through Ticketek or by calling 0800 TICKETEK. Service fees and credit card charges may apply.
The TSB Showplace box office is open Monday to Friday from 9am – 4pm.
There are ticket sales at Gate 1 and 4 at Yarrow Stadium on game days with ticket pick-up at Gate 1 only. You can purchase PYO tickets and even scan the barcode from your smartphone to avoid queues. To purchase online please check event details on the What's On page.
Important notice: Ticketek is the only authorised ticket seller for this venue. When purchasing tickets please ensure you are doing so via Ticketek agency only. Yarrow Stadium has no obligation to honour tickets purchased via unauthorised re-sellers.
What to bring
Yarrow Stadium is an outdoor venue with only some sheltered areas so please dress appropriately – it can get cool later in the evening but you may need a hat and sunscreen earlier on.
Food & beverage
A range of hot and cold food is available for purchase, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A permanent food stand is located on the West Stand kiosk.
Payment options are cash or EFTPOS.
We are committed to sustainability and are part of the Taranaki Green Initiative (Toitupu Toiroa). We aim to minimise waste and recycle as much as possible so please use the correct bin when disposing of anything on site.
We can help if you need a little more assistance getting into Yarrow Stadium. The venue has an allocated area for wheelchairs at the Gate One (Upper Maratahu Street) end of the West Stand.
A limited number of mobility car parks are available if booked in advance before the event. Contact us to apply.
Service dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
Lost and found
If you lose something on the night, check in with venue staff who can assist you if it has been handed in to lost property. Any left over items handed in are delivered to the New Plymouth Police Station the day after the event.
Conditions of Entry
There’s nothing better than being in amongst the action and watching a live game at one of the best venues in New Zealand, however, to keep it special we’ve got a few rules to follow.
You're welcome to bring non-commercial food in like sandwiches, fruit and biscuits and if it's wet we allow umbrellas and tarps (just don't block anyone's view of the event otherwise you will have to take them down).
Bag searches will be undertaken at the gates
Prohibited items include:
- Commercially produced takeaway food items such as McDonald’s, KFC, Subway, Burger King, etc
- Beverages other than water in sealed clear plastic bottles up to 1L in size
- Glassware, glass bottles, thermos flasks or other breakable containers
- Banners, placards, flags or poles of more than 1m in length for displaying the same, or material for the construction or assembly of such articles
- Prams, strollers and pushchairs or such similar items are permitted in the General Admission area but only at National Provincial Cup games
